Our third annual surf and skate summer camp will start on June 17, 2024. We will offer daily drop-ins or weekly rates. Its open to beginner to advanced kids ages 5 and up. We provide all equipment, including surfboards, skateboards, and safety gear. Drop-off and pick-up is at the surf shop located at 2100 Padre Blvd. next to Subway.

Daily Schedule
9-10 am

Dropoff at 77 Surf. We'll watch surf movies or skate around until the lessons begin.
Our beginner group coaches and intermediate/advanced group coaches will give lessons. A helmet, elbow pads, wristguards, and knee pads are required for all participants. We have extras you can borrow!
Here's what a typical day will look like at our summer camp!
11 - 12 pm
12 - 1pm
We'll have an indoor break in our surf cafe where we can eat our lunches, talk about our lesson and review any footage. Please pack your own lunch.
After a short walk down the street to the beach, we'll begin our surf lessons! We will have a coach for both beginner and intermediate/advanced surfers. We provide surfboards but feel free to bring your own!
1 - 2 pm
2 - 3 pm
This is for free time at the beach! We can practice what we learned in our surf lesson, play on the sand, or hang out in the shade under our tent.
At this time we will walk back to the surf shop and get ready for pick-up time. We'll review any surfing footage we got, or skate in the back until the parents pick up their kids by 3pm.

We will provide surfboards, skateboards, helmets, elbow pads, kneepads, and wrist guards to use during the lesson, but feel free to also bring your own!
We will walk down the street from our shop to City Beach Access #4, Island Circle. Parents are welcome to come watch their kids surfing!
whERE WILL WE SURF?
The majority of our lessons will take place in the parking lot behind our shop, but we may also take field trips to the skate park.
where will we skate?
Bring your own sunscreen, towel, and an optional change of clothes for after the beach. We have a restroom at the shop to change if needed.
What else do i bring?
Please pack your child a lunch, any snacks they might want during the day, and a refillable water bottle.
is lunch provided?
Boys show up in swim trunks and a t-shirt, girls wear a bathing suit underneath shorts and a shirt. After skating you'll be ready for the beach!

We will meet at 77 Surf & Skate Shop at 2100 Padre Blvd. Suite 3. It is located in the Island Center Plaza directly next door to Subway.
